Specifying value for a joker

You cannot go out with unspecified jokers. If you have a complete hand with unspecified jokers, Four Winds displays a message asking you to specify the jokers before declaring out.

Notice that if points are paid to losers, Four Winds does not by default ask losers to specify the unspecified jokers, but rather does the point calculation by trying to use the best possible values for the unassigned jokers. If you want to guarantee that jokers are counted as specific tiles, you should either specify them manually before it is likely that anyone declares out, or change the setting so that Four Winds waits for losers to specify their jokers.
