Quick Start

Training cards – Declaring Kongs

Declaring a concealed Kong
  1. Load the game file.
  2. Start by discarding Character 3.
  3. Wait until you receive the fourth East wind from the Wall.
  4. Click the Kong button.
  5. Confirm declaration by clicking the Kong button of the Kong dialog box.
After the tiles have been melded, you get a supplement tile from the Dead Wall. Otherwise you could not compose a hand consisting of four sets and a pair.

Note: Some rules restrict player's right to declare a Kong to player's own turn only. In this case you cannot declare a Kong after having claimed a tile for a Chow or a Pung. (Declaring a Kong after having claimed a tile for a Kong is not restricted, since you get a supplement tile from the Wall, thus making you independent on the claimed tile.)
